Asiya is primarily known for her role in the story of Prophet Moses (Musa) as recounted in the Quran. According to Islamic tradition, Asiya was the wife of Pharaoh (Firawn), the tyrannical ruler of ancient Egypt. Despite her husband's cruelty and tyranny, Asiya was steadfast in her faith and refused to follow Pharaoh's idolatrous beliefs.
