Sourav Ganguly


 Sourav Ganguly, popularly known as "Dada," is a former cricketer and captain of the Indian national cricket team. He was born on July 8, 1972, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Ganguly is considered one of the most successful and influential cricketers in Indian cricket history.

Ganguly made his international debut in 1992 and went on to have a successful career spanning over a decade. He was a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Ganguly was known for his elegant stroke play, especially through the off-side, and his aggressive captaincy style.
